The 90-Minute Sunday Reset That Makes My Entire Week Feel Expensive

Someone once told me that expensive-looking women don't necessarily spend more — they just prepare more. I've thought about that constantly ever since, because it's true. The weeks where I feel most pulled-together, most 'she has her life together,' are never the weeks I spent the most money. They're the weeks I did my Sunday reset.

So today I'm walking you through my exact 90-minute routine — timestamps, checklist, and all. It's not precious. It's not a spa day. It's a realistic system for busy women who want Monday to feel like a soft launch, not a scramble.

The Mindset: Luxury Is a Feeling, Not a Price Tag

Before we start, a reframe. When I say 'expensive,' I don't mean designer. I mean the quiet confidence of knowing your favorite serum is stocked, your outfits are decided, and nothing on Monday morning can ambush you. That feeling costs zero dollars. It just costs ninety minutes you'd probably spend doom-scrolling anyway.

Minute 0–20: Skincare Prep, Elevated

I start in the bathroom with what I call my 'reset facial.' Double cleanse to undo the weekend (self-tanner mishaps, I see you), a gentle exfoliant, and a hydrating sheet mask — the $4 kind, worn while I answer emails.

The key move: I restock while I'm in there. Check the cotton pads, the micellar water, the SPF. Running out of basics mid-week is the least luxurious feeling on earth. Everything gets refilled, reordered, or added to a list now, not later.

Minute 20–35: The Beauty Fridge Restock

Yes, I keep a mini fridge, and no, I will not apologize. But this part is functional, I promise: I decant my morning eye gel, restock my roller, and prep a week's worth of ice-water lemon slices (tiny thing, big difference in my water intake).

If a beauty fridge feels like a lot, skip it — the principle stands. Stage your morning essentials the night before, every night, and your mornings transform.

Minute 35–50: The 15-Minute Closet Refresh

This is not a full closet clean-out. This is a tune-up:

Fifteen minutes. That's it. The payoff is a week of mornings where you never once stand in a towel whispering 'I have nothing to wear.'

Minute 50–70: Plan the Week Like a Stylist

I sit down with coffee and my planner and do three things: check the calendar for anything requiring a specific look (client dinner? pack the blazer now), schedule my workouts like meetings, and pick one 'treat moment' per day — a walk, a fancy tea, a face oil at night.

That last one matters. Anticipation is free luxury, and spreading small pleasures across the week beats saving them all for Saturday.

Minute 70–90: The Wind-Down

Final stretch: nails tidied, lips masked, phone on the charger outside the bedroom, and one episode of whatever comfort show is currently holding me together. Lights low. Linen spray if I'm feeling fancy (or if I'm feeling broke, because it makes everything feel fancy).

Your Printable Sunday Reset Checklist

Pin it, screenshot it, tape it to your mirror. Ninety minutes, once a week — and suddenly your whole life reads 'expensive.' The secret was never the money, babes. It was the prep.
